I love faux fur. It’s so very dramatic and wonderfully theatrical. I, of course, do not condone the use of real fur – in this day and age it’s not necessary, and can be rather cruel. Faux fur, however, most definitely has a place on my wish list, as you can go even crazier with it and choose a colour. Rich, deeper hues such as forest greens and oxblood reds can evoke a luxurious sense, whilst crisp whites and pale greys are the epitome of the winter palette. I’m currently on the lookout for a vest and/or jacket of this sort, with the one problem being that these pieces, if overdone, can look gaudy. Best to play up the patterns or textures when wearing faux fur, as if too many ‘things’ are happening with the outfit, then it can look garish rather than gorgeous.

I can’t get enough of faux fur. The possibilities are endless! And a great faux fur vest is the perfect, cozy winter look. I’m in love with the oxblood coat!

So true! That’s why they’re perfect, because (as you say) not only do they look good, but they’re cozy too. Thanks for reading! x
